The president of the jury for the main competition of the IV International Motivational Film and Sport Festival BRIDGE of ARTS will be a film and TV actor, Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Eric Roberts (USA).
Along with him the assessment of full-length fiction films is to be made by producers Roberto Bessi (Italy), Stuart Urban (Great Britain) and Natalia Ivanova (Russia), as well as an actor, director and screenwriter Marek Probosh (Poland).
Eric Roberts is an American actor, Academy Award nominee as Best Supporting Actor for the film “Runaway Train” directed by Andrei Konchalovsky. Roberts acted more than 500 roles in films and appeared in more than 100 performances on Broadway. He studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
In 1976 Roberts made his debut on television and was nominated for the Golden Globe for his first role in the full-length film “King of the Gypsies” (directed by Frank Pierson). The actor is known for his roles in films such as “The Dark Knight” directed by Christopher Nolan (2008), “The Expendables” by Sylvester Stallone (2010) and “Inherent Vice” by Paul Thomas Anderson (2014).
Roberto Bessi is an Italian screenwriter and producer. His cinematography journey started more than 40 years ago when he graduated from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. Roberto Bessi’s name is well-known in Italy and America. He participates in every stage of a film-making process, from concept development to distribution and promotion at film festivals. The most famous works produced by Bessi are “Modigliani” (2014) and “A Good Woman” (2004).
Stuart Urban is a British film director, screenwriter and producer. His filmography consists of several dozen works including “The Bill” (1984), “The Good Guys” (1992) and “May I Kill U?” (2012).
Marek Probosz is a Polish actor, film director, screenwriter and producer. His list of works includes more than 50 different projects such as “Death of Captain Pilecki” (2006), “Monk” (2002), “Scandal” (2012) and “The Closed Circuit” (2013).
Natalia Ivanova is a Russian film director, who has been working in the motion-picture industry since 1986. She is a member of Producers Guild of Russia and the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation. Since 2001 Natalia has been the head of the Production Center “Horosho Production”. She worked as a producer at the Festivals of Russian Cinema in France (Limoges) and Italy (Sardinia). Such films as “The Order” (2015), “Two women” (2014), “Taly and Toly” (2015) and “Not Strangers” (2018) are associated with her name.
