Delegation of the International Motivational Film Festival BRIDGE of Arts will attend the Cannes international Festival de Cannes (Festival international du film de Cannes) which celebrates its seventieth anniversary this year and is considered one of the world's most prestigious film festivals. The festival will run from 17-28 May and will collect leading industry insiders in French Reviera.

Visiting high-ranking film festivals and maintainance of internatioanl cooperation constitues an essential part of any festival's program development process. Earlier the BRIDGE of ARTS team attended the Berlin international Film Festival and partnered with Festival of the Russian cinema in Paris.

Now more than 200 films from different countries are submitted for considereation. Motivation in its broadest sense is the festival organisers' main focus. Motivational films inspire, provide food for thought and show fight for people's values. These works are about power of positive thinking and desire to make this world better. This year the program promises to be richer and more diverse. Festival's participants and guests will be able to view feature, documentary, independent and other kinds of films. The special program supported by World Wildlife Fund will comprise films of Scandinavian countries which have not been screened in the region yet and an array of award-winning films. Short film nights will be organised for night screenings' fans.  

Besides full-lenght and short films competition the festival will include Russian national tourism and travel film competition "Russia Inspires!". This project will acquaint viewers with historic and cultural heritage of Russia including its most remoted areas. 

"Film Abundance in the modern world forms a critical and selective viewer, who is difficult to surprise or impress. Every week a great number of Russian and foreign films are released. BRIDGE of ARTS primary task is to present unknown films. We present both critically-acclaimed and new films and filmmakers. We select films that will be appealing to any viewer. BRIDGE of ARTS films are life-affirmimg and they  foster viewers' reflection", - the program director of BRIDGE of ARTS Elena Larionova told.

Call for participation is in progrees. Modern full-lenght and short films can be submitted. The Best movie, The Best Director, The Best Actor and The Best Actress winners will be announced by the jurors at the Closing ceremony.

Film submissions are accepted till June 20, 2017.
