BRIDGE of ARTS Will Award Children’s ‘Filmmaking Talent Fair’ Winners

International Motivational Film and Sport Festival BRIDGE of ARTS partnered with ‘Filmmaking Talent Fair – Southern Region Cup’ which took place on May, 28 – June, 2 in Loo settlement of Krasnodar region. 140 young participants competed in acting, attended master classes given by film industry professionals and partook in filmmaking process.

‘Filmmaking Talent Fair – Southern Region Cup’ is the event welcoming best children’s creative collaborations from the South of Russia. It was established by ANO I ‘Youth Creative Initiative’ under the auspice of International Motivational Film and Sport Festival BRIDGE of ARTS. The IV TV project theme was love of cinema.

Children from Rostov-on-Don, Novocherkassk, Matveev Kurgan, Azov, Myasnikov region and other locations shot their self-made video clips to present to the public on June, 15. For five days emerging talents had been attending master classes of experienced filmmakers and making their own pictures. 

According to ANO I ‘Youth Creative Initiative’ chairman and ‘Filmmaking Talent Fair’ organizer and ideologist Victoria Babkina, the main point of conducting the festival was to disseminate festive vibes typical of big festivals. ‘Children from towns and cities of South of Russia plunged into the cinema world atmosphere and turned into actors, directors and scriptwriters. We have been inviting talented children for four years already and are amazed by their increasing number. ‘Fair 2018’ was a success. We are hoping for viewers and online audience active voting as their opinion turns out to be the most objective. On behalf of all organizers I wish all the contestants great achievements and brilliant career in filmmaking’, - she said.

Online voting will be in progress from June, 15 to July, 15. One can choose the best video produced by ‘Filmmaking Talent Fair” participants on ‘Southern Region Don’ viewers and online users will be able to support their favourite team. The winners will be announced and awarded at the end of August at the children’s section of the International Motivational Film and Sport Festival BRIDGE of ARTS 2018.
