BRIDGE of ARTS launches mobile app

17 June 2016

International Motivational Film Festival BRIDGE of ARTS has presented an official mobile app which provides actual information about festival events and guidance in the intense program of activities that will be held in Rostov-on-Don and other regional cities on August 24-28, 2016. During the preparation period to the grand-scale film and sports forum people can make votes through mobile application for the most motivating Russian film of the last twenty years.

The IMFF main office informed that the mobile app is oriented for owners of iOS and Anroid devices. The service is free of charge and is available for downloading from App Store and Google play market. You should use the title “bridgeofarts” (in joined-up writing) to find the app in these online shops.

This mobile service provides the acquaintance with the festival schedule and allows to add the most interesting positions to the “Favourites”, thus creating a plan for the forum. To improve user friendliness, the main program was divided into units - Screening, Sport People Fest and City events. For foreign guests there is a section called “Locations” with the main festival areas. Every user can see the event place on the map, so people won't get lost. Also all the news published on the festival website and in official groups of social networks are available in the app. Every time the app is launched, the information will be automatically refreshed.

“We have developed a very user-friendly app. One can put a minimum of effort to get all the information he is interested in. A user can make his own schedule of the events, find the right locations of the festival, watch film trailers and participate in the surveys. I believe the residents of Rostov-on-Don will place the BRIDGE of ARTS sign on the main page of their mobile phones, making it as clickable as the popular social networks,” commented marketing director of the festival Tamara Petrova.

After downloading the app, there will be a chance to vote for the most motivating Russian film of the last 20 years. The list includes “Legenda №17”, “9 rota”, “Stalingrad”, “Bitva za Sevastopol”, “Mi iz budushego” (a.k.a. “Black Hunters”) and other movies. The picture with the most votes will be honored with the BRIDGE of ARTS award statuette. Trailers to the pictures participating in this survey may also be found in the app. The results of the viewers' voting will be announced at the concluding ceremony of the II International Motivational Film Festival BRIDGE of ARTS on August 28.
