BRIDGE of ARTS and World Wildlife Fund have signed a cooperation agreement

II International Motivational Film Festival BRIDGE of ARTS will help the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) bring Persian leopard back to the Caucasus. These rare animals are now being prepared to the wildlife in a special breeding center to be later released on the Caucasian National Park territory.

On BRIDGE of ARTS locations the banners with number 3443 will be displayed. By sending an SMS to this number with the word LEO, the festival guests can make a contribution to save the population of this animal.

Films concerning ecological issues are included in the festival program. The first film to open the screening will be a documentary work Normal is Over that has won several awards at the international ecological festivals. Besides, a special WWF-Russia film about Persian leopard will be shown.

“BRIDGE of ARTS is an international social project. World famous movie-stars are increasingly involved in the struggle for environment. We realize that taking part in charitable initiatives is very important for them, and so we are pleased to provide them our festival locations. By joining forces with WWF-Russia, we can channel the energy on the right track. We invite cinematographers and international public to join a charitable action”, marked BRIDGE of ARTS general producer Fyodor Krat.

Also, at the initiative of WWF, BRIDGE of ARTS will host a roundtable discussion on the topic “The contribution of cinematography in changing the public environmental consciousness”. Environmental team, public men and cinematographers will discuss the possible ways of cooperation for preserving the environment.

The environmental protection theme is a topic of interest for the festival, that's why the cooperation with WWF-Russia will continue next year that is also announced to be the Year of Ecology in Russia.

At the festival held in Rostov-on-Don on August 24-28 the invited stars will have some creative meetings where they will pay attention to the ecological problems. Besides, special social film screening will be organized.
