BRIDGE OF ARTS 2016 EXCURSION PROGRAM IS PUBLISHED

In the days of the II International Motivational Film Festival BRIDGE of ARTS free excursions with the stories of cinematography and culture code of the people of Southern capital will be organized for the citizens and festival guests. Star festival guests are expected to accompany the citizens while visiting the historic places and tourist attractions.

Specially for the festival 2 new tour circuits are prepared. “The City of dreams” program is dedicated to the history of cinematography in Rostov-on-Don. The excursion starts before the fountain in Pokrovskiy park and finishes near Sholokhov-Center. The participants will discover the location of the first cinema theatre of the city, study the places connected with the lives of Khanzhonkov, Plyatt, Maretskaya, Mordvinova, Serebrennikov, Vetrov and other cinematographers, visit the shooting locations of the famous films. The guide will be Igor Narizhniy, director of the touristic agency TUR.FM, author of the city excursions in a new format. Participation is available on August 24 at 17:00, on August 26 at 17:00 and 19:00.

“The culture code of a Rostovite” is the second excursion of the program. Alexey Pavlovsky, head of the sightseeing tour agency “Your personal Rostov-on-Don guide” and BRIDGE of ARTS director of PR, together with special festival guests will tell about the peculiarities that unite citizens, share the origins of the city legends and investigate their truths and myths. The excursion starts before the fountain of the Pokrovskiy park and finishes near Sholokhov-Center. Excursion dates and time: August 27 at 16:00 and August 28 at 11:00 and 14:00.

Separate excursion program is prepared for the festival guests – they will acquaint with Chekhov places in Taganrog, with the history of Don Armenians in Chaltyr, with Cossack traditions in Starocherkasskaya village. Also BRIDGE of ARTS participants will be presented with the experimental city projects – “Voice of the city” and art-improvisation “Downtown”. Participation in excursions is free.
