Business forum of film and media content held in the frame of II International Motivational Film Festival BRIDGE of ARTS has announced the start of accepting applications for pitching. The projects of cinematographers will be judged by the jury formed of recognized experts of domestic and foreign film-making.
The festival management will be accepting applications during a month – till August 5, 2016. The organizers put great efforts to simplify the process: one should just download the application form from the link, fill it in and send to the selection committee email – email@example.com.
Projects of full-lenth films, short films (up to 15 minutes) and TV shows (including cross-media and web-series) are eligible. This might be feature film projects as well as animated film projects or documentary ones.
The pitching participants will be determined on August 15. Also on this day the organizers will publish the panel of expert jury which will judge the projects on August 26, the final working day of Business forum of film and media content. An expert commission will include recognized experts of domestic and foreign film-making: producers, screenwriters and directors.
The organizers expect more pitching participants. If last year the projects were presented mainly by the screenwriters, this year several film crews from Russia and abroad preliminary declared their willingness for pitching with projects nearing completion.
A special educational program is arranged for the pitching participants. In particular, they will have an opportunity to participate in the workshop with focus on presentation preparation. Besides, individual consultations concerning project presentation are scheduled. “Pitching is an important part of the Business forum in the frame of BRIDGE of ARTS, as the platform connecting present and future of the Russian cinema production is beneficial to each party. Successful producers and directors receive the inflow of fresh ideas and talented writers, and the participants – an opportunity to address directly to cinema experts for advice, promotion and finance”, said pitching expert Anna Gudkova.
As it was informed, the IMFF BRIDGE of ARTS, taking place in Rostov-on-Don on August 24-28, retains its multi-format: film presentations and sports events will be arranged, as well as the business area. The leading representatives of Russian and foreign cinematography will meet on the Business forum of film and media content. The key theme is the cooperation. The forum is focused on the development of film and media production in Russia, and particularly in Rostov region, investment attraction to the industry, expansion of international relations.
